Missing Part

I know that there is a part in me that's missing, always regretting not attending undergrad in Hong Kong.

Maybe if I did, I could spend more quality time with you, with my secondary school squads, and with possibly many other locals I could potentially meet at university.

That's likely why I am endlessly searching for a group of people with a common course even up to today––– many years after I graduated.

That's hypothetical though. Given my horizon and attitude at the time, there was every possibility that I would still just hide myself and not spoke a single word to my old school friends even studying at a HK uni.

That makes me think of a verse by Robert Frost that I quoted often when I was just about to part HK and attend college in US:

"Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both, I took the one less travelled by and that has made all the difference."

For sure I took the less travelled road and that has made all the difference as well. But it always makes me ponder the scenery at the road not taken.
